Putting the Ethics Back into Work

What once was the Boiler Room...

has become the new, très chic Poolside Cafe.

But it won't be all fun and sun, as there's work to be done and legal lives to save in the Boiler Room.

We've had a busy first week: We solved a complicated case about a dog and a carpet -- Law 0: Boiler Room 1 -- however, we almost lost one of our colleagues last week when he went to serve a subpoena in rural Albermarle.  Luckily, he made it back alive and successful.

We have a Boiler Room Baby due in two weeks, and about 12 extra chairs should anyone need the seating. We are excited for summer, and meeting everyone at Legal Aid.  We're also thrilled to know we have a fall out shelter in the Bunker room should Harold Camping's prediction of the Rapture come to pass. Until next time!

Not bad, took until after Memorial Day, but not too bad at all.
