So, an anonymous lackey in the Boiler Room has begun to unravel what looks to be yet another bum steer from the LAJC staff. The boss and a number of the attorneys claim that every year of LAJC interns performs a skit at the end of the summer--a proud tradition we will be required to continue.
The truth? A number of knowledgable sources have revealed that last summer the interns performed no such skit. And we have yet to learn from any disinterested source whether any earlier years' interns in fact did produce a skit.

Ah - the devil is in the details. True, Interns06 successfully pled laches when asked to perform the day before the end of summer party -- a mistake corrected by The Management by giving Interns07 a full 10 weeks notice as evidenced by this post. Besides, as I recall, post-summer references for Intern06 may have contained phrases like "decided lack of creativity" and "not much of a team player" (where are *they* now, anyway?).
On the other hand, Interns05 did a bang-up job on the skit -- and it seems thay have gone far. Hopefully, we will get a little feedback from the peanut gallery.
